The Blackfoot Youth Water Council is a new non-profit, based in the Blackfoot Confederacy in Southern Alberta  which aims to become a hub for water knowledge and advocacy that facilitates engagement with nature, learning about Western and Indigenous science approaches to the land, and advocacy for water issues in the community.
